Brief:
Garden Studios is a film production complex backing onto the Grand Union Canal in Park Royal. We were asked to supply two exclusive outdoor 'pods' for their top talent to chill out in and enjoy the view across the canal.
We worked closely with the client and the landscape designer to come up with a premium product, with a birch ply interior, oak flooring, and machined Siberian larch cladding. We also fitted security shutters to the back windows which were on a boundary.
There were a few challenges to this job, including working with and around other site contractors, installing right next to a canal side, and ensuring good quality footings when we were unable to use groundscrews due to the soil conditions. As usual, we went the extra mile and gained another happy customer at the end of it.
